At Port of Altea we believe in simplicity, honesty and personal contact.
We create interiors that feel comfortable, look balanced and suit the way you live — always with attention to both quality and budget.
We are a family-run company with Dutch roots and a strong background in flooring, curtains and sun shading. Over the years we have worked on a wide variety of projects, from private homes and holiday apartments to larger interior and flooring projects.
This experience is reflected in the way we work: practical, reliable and with great attention to detail. At the same time, we combine this with a relaxed Mediterranean approach that fits perfectly with living on the Costa Blanca.
Our showroom is located on the N-332, just behind the harbour of Altea. Here we present a carefully selected collection of Dutch brands. From practical and affordable solutions to more refined finishes — always chosen for durability, comfort and suitability for everyday living.

Installing a LVT floor over tiles
Many homes on the Costa Blanca have existing tile floors. During renovations, LVT flooring is often chosen because it can be installed over tiles.
In many cases this is possible, but proper preparation of the subfloor is essential.
In Spanish homes we often see tile floors with deep joints or small height differences. Without proper preparation, these joints or edges can become visible in the new floor.
That is why we always inspect the existing floor first. Depending on the situation, a suitable underlayment may be sufficient, but in many cases we recommend leveling the floor to achieve a perfectly smooth result.
LVT flooring is particularly popular in Spain because it is:
• comfortable and quiet to walk on
• easy to maintain in daily use
• ideal in combination with underfloor heating or cooling
• highly durable for intensive use

Carpet, custom rugs and stair renovation
Carpet adds warmth, comfort and a sense of calm to an interior. Especially in bedrooms, on stairs and in spaces where acoustics matter, carpet can make a noticeable difference. At Port of Altea we help clients choose carpet that suits the space, the way it is used and the overall style of the interior.
In addition to wall-to-wall carpet, we also offer custom rugs. A made-to-measure rug can bring exactly the right atmosphere to a room without covering the entire floor. Custom rugs are available in a variety of materials, textures and finishes so they integrate perfectly with the interior.

In addition to supplying materials, we also provide professional installation and maintenance. Even if your floor was purchased elsewhere, you can rely on us for expert fitting and care.
Through our network of experienced specialists we install PVC, laminate, carpet, wooden floors and parquet, as well as carry out maintenance and renovation work. Always with attention to finish and long-term comfort.
